Sweet Lab

Sweet Lab started its journey in 2005 at the Medicinal and Process Chemistry Division, CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow. After couple of years, the lab moved to its new destination at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, a young Institution established in 2006. It was truly a remarkable change of situation considering the jump from a quiet established set-up to the topsy-turvy of a nascent Institution. Starting from the lack of infrastructure to the uncertainty of the geographical location, nothing could stop us to redefine our strength and strategy to achieve the goal with joy and satisfaction. The lab salute the five musketeers (Somnath D, Bimalendu, Vishal, Santanu and Priya) who showed the courage to conquer the rough sea when shifting from Lucknow. They not only re-established the Sweet Lab but also successfully transferred the baton to their successors for the wonderful journey continuing till date...
